Hi everybody!
After graduating in '74, I worked at Crane Mill & Mine, the went on to work for IOC until 1983. Left Sept-Iles in November '83. Lived 3 years in Belleville, ON, then 13 years in Kitchener, ON and have just recently moved to St. Catharines, ON.Presently working in a medical environment with Veterinarians and Medical Doctors. Very interesting job! Just got back from spending a week-end in Montreal at a Vet tradeshow.

- I have looked at this web site numerous times and finally decided to submit. I left Sept-Iles in 1976 for Montreal. I worked for Quebecair for 5 years. Moved to Toronto in 1981 and worked for the Canadian Government for 4 years. Got married and had two children: a son, now 18; and a daughter, now 15. Moved to Oshawa and worked for General Motors for 4 years. Moved to Cobourg and worked for the school board for 4 years. Got divorced and moved to Ottawa 10 years ago where my mother lives. I now work for a small documentation/web development company designing and developing web sites for different federal government departments. I have been back to Sept-Iles a few times over the years to visit my brother as well as my father who lives on the North Shore.
- (update : 05-01-2006) I am remarried to the most wonderful man I have ever met. He treats me like a Queen. I am now working for Environment Canada in the Communications division (creating publications for Canadian Wildlife Services). - Hi everyone. Super idea with the web site. After leaving QEHS I went ot school in Toronto and graduated as an aerospace engineer and work for a company called Lockheed Martin. I spent 18 year working in the space industry primarily on the Space Shuttle (and some other small programs) and decided in '99 to explore other areas of work within the company internationally. Gayle Stewart and I tied the knot in'81 and have lived in New Orleans and Florida. We have 3 children; Ryan 17, Caitlin 11, and Corey 10. We have been living in England since '99 and have adapted quite well. Gayle and the kids are still involved in sports, where as I play the pub scene and sports on tele. Gayle plays tennis on county teams and is in training for the London Marathon. Ryan plays competitive soccer for a divisional club team and Caitlin & Corey are active in sports as well. I recently was in touch with Greg Spierkel (Man'74) who is living over in Brussels. We have traveled alot in Europe and would love to see or here from some of the old gang. I spent a career in the Canadian Forces and the past 7 years in the Canadian government and now am with IBM. Single mom - two boys (6 and 4). -Wow, it has been a long time! 30 years!! Wonder what you all look like? Apparently, I haven't changed one bit ...hahaha!!! After a couple of dead end boring jobs after high school I left Sept-Iles, the first time in 1976 by hitchhiking a ride to Quebec City where I lived for a year. Came back to Sept-Iles, gave birth to my son Jason, who is now 27 years old, stayed for a year and moved to Montreal in 1978. I have been in the Montreal vicinity ever since. Worked several different types of jobs, retail and clerical,large coproations to small business, from clerk to supervisor. I have been with the Montreal Police Department since 1990, first 10 years at 9-1-1 and the last few as a police information analyst. I have travelled to England, several Caribbean Islands and spent 6 weeks travelling Mexico with my youngest son Jeffrey (12) in 2003. This past summer my partner (Jean-Baptiste, born June 24th, can't be more Quebecois than that) and I purchased what I believe is called a gentleman's farm near the Quebec/New York border. Since July 2004, I have taken a leave of absence of one year from my job to take on the foster care of 3 intellectually handicapped adult men of 50. Don't know if this is something that I may continue for the long term or not.
I would love to hear from those who have wondered about me. I would like to know if anyone rembembers and knows where Joanne Fergusen is. I haven't seen anyone from Queenie in years. I speak with Steve Donohoe once in a while, he is in the Toronto area. Haven't seen Darlene Tremblay for 20 years. Used to see Rocio Guerra when I lived downtown Montreal. She was a trainer in a gym and looked really HOT ... all you guys from school would have been drooling ha ha ha !!! Glad to read that most of you are doing well. Was sorry to read about Mayynard "Butch's" death. I really liked him. He was a great guy. Also Doug Demeau. anyhow I think I wrote enough. Love to all and may your dreams continue to come true. Sandy ...and yes I still tend to look like a hippie sometimes.
