- After graduating from Queenie I spent a year in Montreal and from there moved to Hamilton, Ontario where I met my husband, Chris, who was playing professional soccer on loan from Ireland. I gained employment with the Royal Trust Company and spent 14 years with them in the ultimate capacity of Self-Directed RRSP / RRIF Sr. Administrator. I was also successful in passing the Canadian Securities Course and obtained my stockbroker's licence, the latter of which I never did utilise.
- During this time Chris and I had two boys, Patrick, now aged 18 and who graduated this year, is currently studying computer science, playing professional soccer for the Premier League in Ireland with a view to eventually making it on to the Manchester United squad as well as also being currently on trials with the Ireland Youth International Team, phew, phew, phew!, and Michael, now 12, who is also a soccer fanatic.
- In 1990 we packed up, lock, stock and barrel and moved to Ireland. While it may have not been the wisest choice, we are now riding on the back of the Celtic tiger and life for us is improving steadily. Chris is self-employed as a decorator and I work with John Sisk & Son Ltd., builder / contractors, the largest company of its nature in Ireland with a presence in the U.K. and Africa.
- Since moving we have produced yet another lad, Daragh, aged 6, who doesn't hate school...yet!...and who has a sweet left foot like his older bros.
It would do me the WORLD of good to hear from anyone who might remember me. As I have already e-mailed to Ted Collinson, our revered PE teacher from way back then!, home is home and Canada will always be my home.

Hey, I should have graduated in 1972 but due to family I had to move back to Montreal. I lived with my uncle, aunt & cousin in the IOC circle. Anyways, I found David Whaley a few months back & he clued me into this site. I have 4 great kids (2 boys (24/23) & 2 girls (20/18) and happily seperated. - (deceased). Dieter unfortunately passed away in a car accident in June, 1974.
- When I went to QEHS - at one point elastics were the in-thing - Dieter used to corner me in the back enterance shelter (he was so tall - that I could never get away and he would always try shoot them at my legs - it was all in fun & we would laugh about it - but it is something that I have remembered about him & even to this day I smile about it.

George is a Sales Manager for a company called Canaflex Hydraulic Inc. I work part time as a daycare attendant at a local school, and am also a full time volunteer with Girl Guides of Canada. - Bet you didn't know my second name was "Percy". Kept that one hidden from you hecklers for four years. Didn't want anything in common with Mr. Hartwick back then I guess. Anyways, I'm back in Sept-Iles after having lived in different places across Canada. Got married to Jacqui in '86 and have three children, two girls and a boy. Stacey sixteen and Shandi fourteen are both attending Queen E. while Daniel Johnathan (DJ) five has just started pre K at the French school. - Left Sept Iles after Graduation and went back to England. After finishing my studies, lived for a year in West Africa and then came back to Montreal. Since being back, Hosted the first wedsite in Montreal (Showboat.com), set up the first microlink to run at 56k. Have lots of fun playing with accounting and computers. For those of you who live in Montreal, I helped take Crazy Irving From a 2M operation to a 36m in 6 years. Just like in school, I do not think of my job as work, but more of something I enjoy. - Attended Acadia University and graduated with a BSc. in Geology. Married in 1975 to Marlene who I met at Acadia. We have a daughter Hilary who turns 14 on December 31, 2001. She will be elgible to get her learners permit to drive. Look out if you're in Calgary.
- We have been living in Calgary since 1981. I left geology and went into commercial office leasing in 1987. I enjoy the challenge working with different businesses and their requirements. In my spare time I run marathons, ski, fly fish and have recently built a cottage. Marlene practices law and specializes in employment. She started her own firm three years ago. I was pleasantly surprised to find this website as it is hard to imagine having lived in Sept Iles so long ago. It would be interesting to go back for a visit. - After graduating from QEHS, I attended Norwich University, graduating in 1976. After receiving a master's degree from UMass-Amherst in 1977, I headed to Colorado and worked for the Colorado Rockies (NHL) until their move to New Jersey in 1982. I returned to Vermont and have worked at Norwich ever since. I am currently the Vice President of Institutional Advancement for the school. I waited until 1991 to get married. My wife Stacey and I have two children, Billy (7) and Sarah (5). I have stayed in touch with Karen (Blomdahl) Pietrangelo '72, AJ Gallichon '72, and Tom Marturano (Our Lady's and QEHS). The reunion in 1985 (?) was a great time and the last time I have been back to Sept Iles. I have also heard from Brenda Chance and Lynda Lehman thru this site.
