- Helen Fequet (Grad '70) and I live just north of Woodstock, Georgia. We've been here since 1983. I am a Contract Administrator for a German company involved in the design, engineering, & supply of cement manufacturing plants.
Helen is the office manager for Jasper Lumber Co. They specialize in complete lumber packages for new home construction.
We've raised three sons, Stephen is 23 years old and is married (May '98). to Jennifer. They have a home about 35 miles from us. Stephen also works for a unit of Jasper Lumber.
Derek is 21, works for an electrical manufacturer in Woodstock. Still lives at home. Daniel is 19, & works for . . Jasper Lumber Co.! & still lives at home.
Now that you've started this site we can look back and remind ourselves of old friends, names we've forgotten (not forgotten, just not thought of in quite some time), trouble we got into . . .This could be fun. Let's hear from some the '69-'71 crowd.

- I have been living in Vancouver since 1983 and have not grown tired of the balmy, palmy weather! Since the late 80's, I've been a civil servant, a field officer for the Corporations Directorate (federal incorporation of companies) and the Canadian Intellectual Property Office (patents, trademarks, etc.). My job allows for a lot of travel throughout Canada, except perhaps the Maritimes. Right now I'm visiting my sister, Elizabeth, and her husband Harold and their two children, in Colborne, Ontario. She told me about the site...great to see it! I'm in touch with Gloria (formerly Antle) who lives in Nepean, Ontario with her family,and also with Angela (formerly Zedler), who I've visited on occasion, in San Luis Obispo, California.
- Update : (21/07/2006) : A brief update from Lotus Land - I've been living in the Greater Vancouver Area since 1983 and have never regretted the move out west. I still work for Industry Canada and am looking forward to retiring in the next decade, yeah! My vacations are spent in Baja, Mexico with my boyfriend Ian(seems weird to say "boyfriend" at my age) in his RV or on his little sailboat. - Hello to all of you. I was supposed to have graduated in 1971 but unfortunately, three weeks before the exams, pressure got to me and I guess I must have chickened out! Well that's what happens when your young and inexperienced. Since then I've been married and divorced but I consider myself lucky because I gave birth to a wonderful and caring son, who graduated at Queenie in 1994. Andre Bouchard is his name and Equipement Nordique is his game. I own a modest health center and tanning salon in Sept-Iles since 1986 and have become a massotherapiste for almost 6 years.
For any of you who remember me, I would very much appreciate hearing from you. I hope that not all of you suffer from Alzheimer's
as I do from time to time, which is OK because I'll understand. Hahah! So when you write to me make sure you name yourselves and don't be offended if I don't remember your name when I write back. hahah. Time goes by so fast that this reminds me that I definitely have to let you all go.

- I am so happy to have this chance to find out how everyone is doing. I am living in Mississauga with my husband Steve we have been married for 27 years. We have four children - Lindsay who is 20 years old and just graduating from dental hygienne, she has been living away from home for the last two years. Mark who is 18 and working as a mechanic apprentice for Volkswagon. Shannon who is 15 and going into grade 11 this fall and a music fan, playing base and electric guitars. Our youngest, Ryan is 13 and a huge sports fan (mainly basketball) which he plays by the hour. He will be in grade 8 this fall and is quite involved by leadership activities of his school. I met Steve when I moved to Toronto in 75, and have never looked back. He is in the banking industry, dealing in investments and mortgages. I have worked in alot of different fields, but since the kids were born - have worked part-time, but mainly have been a stay at home mom, which I have loved. I have also been very involved in Girl Guides for the last 13 years.

- After leaving Sept-Iles, QEHS and my first experience in Canada, I completed a Bachelor of Arts in Languages (French & Spanish) at Concordia, a certificate of Industrial Relations at U of Montreal and have now just completed a Masters in Human Systems Intervention at Concordia. For those of you who remember me, I was not a great student in highschool but have never lost my love of learning. I recently joined Nortel (after having worked for Bombardier for 12 years) where my office neighbour happened to be Rob McCrindle (grad 71). I am now looking into setting up my own consulting business as yes, I am no longer employed by Nortel. I keep in touch with Bryan Cummins, the first Canadian highschooler I ever spoke to upon setting foot in this beautiful country in July 1970. (I am originally from the UK.) In between all of this I have worked for the last 23 years in various organizations, have married, divorced and am now living with a great individual. - Just heard about this site from my brother Rob and figured I should check it out. I am glad I did!!
I am presently living in Kerrobert, SK with my husband of 12 wonderful years Jack and our two children. They are Vanessa, who is 11 and loves dance and hockey. She plays on a PeeWee girls team and they are doing very well. She loves it. Her brother Jordan is 10 years old. He is handicapped and has been diagnosed with a chromosonal disorder known as R22. Fortunately for us he is a very happy and affectionate young man who we love very much. He is in Grade 5 with a good bunch of kids who think he is terriffic.
- I was working up until last year when I decided enough for awhile. Time to stay home with the kids. I think they enjoy having me home all the time. I know I am enjoying it.
