- Brenda went on to marry Michael Sefsik ('67? Our Lady's grad) and lived in Sept-Iles until October 1991 when she finally succumbed to a 2-year battle against cancer at the age of 38. She leaves behind 2 children, Sean (class of '90) and Natasha (class of '95). She will be forever loved and remembered by her family as well as all those who were fortunate enough to have known her.

- After 22 years in Vancouver, I've moved to Yellowknife. Pretty drastic change, but I'm really enjoying the simple life here. It's a 10 minute walk to work. I'm a Library Technician in the NWT Court Library.
- I lived a few summers in Dawson City, Yukon, 1978-80, so the north is not a new experience, but I never spent a winter. Everyone thinks I'm going to freeze to death up here, but the way I see it is: Just think how warm it'll feel everywhere else I go! - July 2004 - After I left QEHS I spent 2 years at CEGEP de la Gaspésie and 3 years at Bishop's University (BBA). I first job was with the The Bay in Wawa (home of the goose), Ont as a Management trainee. More significantly to my career, I spent 15 years with Motorola Canada Limited in various positions (Credit Analyst, Credit Supervisor, Credit Manager, National Credit Manager-Cellular Division). I finally saw the financial light and jumped the fence to become the District Sales Manager-Atlantic Region. As a result of the economic conditions in the High Tech industry, we closed the Halifax sales office and I was asked to go back to Toronto. I decided to stay in Halifax, and accepted a job as a Financial Security Advisor with Freedom 55 Financial, a division of London Life.
- In 1978 I married a beautiful Gaspesienne named Marjorie Lemieux (unfortunately she's not related to Mario). I met her during my Gaspe years, and we lost touch during my Bishop's years. We met again shortly after I graduated and were married two years later in Montreal. Marjorie is an Administrative Assistant with GlaxoSmithKlein. We have 2 daughters and a cat (Precious). Our oldest daughter, Jennifer (also a Bishop's graduate) now resides in Mississauga and is the Operations Supervisor for Absolute Recruitment. Our youngest daughter, Melissa will start her second year at St. F.X. in September. Her summer job is a Black Jack Dealer with the Halifax Casino.
- The web site is a great idea, and I've read all of the submissions for my era. I only wish there were more people who had made submissions.... but, maybe you're all like me....I just found out about it last week. I can be reached at : morleyjn@yahoo.ca .
