- Hello Everyone,
- When I left Q.E.H.S in 1985, I did my degree in Ste.Foy Quebec at St.Lawrence College where I majored in Business Administration (a 3year program).
- Well my friend's things did change since that moment on. I opened a ladies imported clothing boutique in Hamiliton ON, for 4 years. At this period in my life I was very adventures. I organized and created several fund raising Fashion shows that lead me to participate at Rogers Toronto T.V. talk shows. I participated in the miss Canada pagent in 1988 (a seven week project) which lead me to being hired for The official International Modeling Agency in Toronto where I was chosen to go to Los Angeles for the world modeling competitions. Companies like Cover Girl and Revlon are present at these events. You know what? I chose a different path!
- In 1993 I moved back to the one and only Sept-Iles. I did marry and I am a proud mom of my son Jonathan who is now 9. I had a sporting goods and clothing boutique until 1999. This is when once again my life took a different path.
- Jonathan and I are now living in the adventures city of Ottawa. Boy did I finally take the right path. In the year of 2001 I returned to college to receive my 5 certificates in computer skills, which lead me to my next goal, the government. In March 2001 I worked as office manager for Volunteer Canada (HRDC) we supported all the volunteer centers across Canada. In October 2002 I was Administrator Coordinator for an Ottawa base printing company. March 2003 the light began to shine brighter. I landed another job in the government. HMIRC which stands for Hazardous Materials Information Review Commission (WHMIS). My position consist of Marketing and Client Services Officer. I now live in Orleans, a very French community. Believe me guys if there is a reunion in 2005 I will most definitely be there. It would be great to here from you guys.

- What a great site! What can I say. After leaving Queenie I followed everyone else to Champlain in Lennoxville. Don't remember much about those college days, just that they were a blast. Some how I made it in to Bishop's and graduated with a B.A in 91. The following year I entered the education program and received a diploma in education in 1993. In between there I had my oldest son, Kelly, now 12. I quickly returned to the coast after graduation and between 93 and 97 I taught in St.Augustine, Harrington, and Aylmer Sound.
- I am presently living in St.Augustine and teaching Math and Science at the secondary level. I was married here in February 1999 to my husband Bobby. I now have two other wonderful sons, Jared (5) and Robby (3MTS). I have regular contact with my still best friend, Christine Ransom. - I've been married for ten years to Dion Driscoll. We have two boys Dion and Jake. I am also a stepmom to his little girl Dana. We recently bought a house in Barrie, Ont. I'm a road rep in the Motorcycle Industry, I've been working in the field for 12 years. I'm still a rebel and spend most of my summer days riding my harley to visit clients. I must not omit the fact that my winter rides in the van are far more dangerous and not as pleasant. Life just doesn't get any better than this. - I did not graduate with all of you as my family relocated in 1983 to New Brunswick. (would have been class of 1985) I have known some of you since 1st grade.
- I finally found this page when doing a search for Ghislain Gauthier on the web. (Thanks Burt) He came to see me in New Brunswick and we kept contact until grade 10 and then I was unable to reach hime in any way. I was really sad to hear as we were good friends since grade 5 or so. I had been searching for info about where he was, off and on, for years.
- It was really strange to see all of your names, and I do recall nearly everyone on this page, after all this time.
- I guess a little update is in order. I finished high school in New Brunswick, attended UNB (science) then went on to art school in Halifax and obtained a Bach in Design.
- I was in Halifax for 7 years and had a design company with a partner. I then moved to Toronto for 5 years.
- I have been in Montreal for 5 years now and have been married for 3 years to a Hungarian woman.
- I am the front page (A1) designer at the Montreal Gazette 4 days a week and the other day a do the once a week PopCulture poster page.
- My wife and I will very likely be relocating to Budapest in November 2006. Until then I guess I will stay put.

Went back to school in 1989, Algonquin College this time and Graduated from Recreation Management. Have spent the last 13 years working for the City of Kanata in various recreation related jobs. Also, worked at the Corel Centre for 5 years driving the Zamboni for the Ottawa Senators (best team in the NHL), Am no longer driving as I moved on to parenthood. - Hello everyone! I haven't really thought of any of you for many years after highschool until today when I met Nadine (1994 Graduate) on the bus (No.33 STO) coming back from work. In case your wondering, work right now is a 9 month contract for the CCRA (Canada Customs and Revenue Agency) as a CR04 assessor in T3-Estates Returns Processing. It's fun work with many interesting people to interact with. I don't really know what to type about so bare with me!
- A little about my past; for many years I was what you might call a professional student, I have a couple of diplomas:
1. Electrodynamic Technologist (CÈGEP de Sept-Îles)
2. Computer Programmer (Algonquin College)
- I enjoyed these experiences in my life but school is definitely no longer in my plans for next five years. Maybe.... This sampler is enough for now, maybe in a couple of months (or years) I'll continue in more detail.
P.S. If anybody is interested Ghislain Gauthier ended his life back in 1996.

- I went to John Abbott and moved to Ottawa in the summer of '89. I went to Carleton and Algonquin College but decided that I was too smart for school. I started working in the publishing field four years ago. I now work at a weekly newspaper in Ottawa. Never married, always in love with somebody. I have been doing a side job this past summer, which has proven to be very interesting, enlightening to say the least. I travelled with The Canadian Federation of Strength Athletes, (Hugo Girard and his wife Nadine) being scorekeeper for the events held across Canada this past summer. - I went to Q.E.H.S. in 1985. I graduated at Massey Vanier (Cowansville) in 1984 and came back to brush up in math, physics and chemistry, had to be the most memorable year of my life.
- After Queen E. I went to college in Toronto and graduated in 1988 as a Civil Engineering Technologist. My futur wife and work (in that order) brought me back to P.C. to live and S.I. to work (R. Tremblay and Assoc.for 2 1/2 yrs). In 1990 I started working for the Town of Port-Cartier as Public Works Technician. I married my wife Lison in 1990, which I had met travelling to S.I. in 1984-1985. We have no kids, the limits of my fatherly skills are challenged every day with our dog, Simba.

- I left Sept Iles in 1985, and went to John Abbott College, where I stayed in residence with my good buddies Chris Miller and Seb Depani. After graduation, I took 1 semester off to help my parents move to Labrador City (my dad was transferred), and went to McGill in 1988. I graduated in 1991 with a BComm in Marketing and International Business, and returned to Labrador City to be with my future wife, whom I had met 2 years earlier . She is now a high school teacher here in Lab City). A week after graduating, I started working as an order desk clerk at a local distribution company, and was eventually promoted to Sales & Marketing Manager.
- In 1998, I decided to go off on my own (nobody to answer to) and started my own business, which is affiliated with a Group of companies in Sept-Iles (where I go often). My company, LPS Distributing Inc., sells several product lines to the local mines (Very big business, and $$$). I was married in 1993, and did a hell of a lot of travelling (Jamaica, Mexico, Cuba, Florida), and finally had a child in 1998 (the joy of my life).
- I've kept in touch with a few high school pals, most recently Chris Fancy and Paul Oliver (who was the best man at my wedding). My job keeps me travelling alot, so I get to see these people pretty often. I'm kept pretty busy, but would take the time out to see any old QEHS Grads. Also note, plans are in the works for a 15 Year reunion, so keep me updated as to where everybody is.
- A quick update on what is happening to me. I recently found out that my wife and I will have our second child in March 2000. Looking forward to that, although 2 kids under 2 years old - should be fun. I also recently opened a Children's clothing store up here in the mall (called CJ's after my little boy, Carey James). It's doing really well. Any ex-QEHS grads looking for some clothing, contact me.
- Update 2001: On St. Patrick's Day, 2000, we had our second child, a baby girl who we named Amy Claire. We are having fun with the two of them. We have also recently purchased a cabin and two snowmobiles, and are really enjoying the North. Email me at dstoddart@jrv.com and keep in touch.

- After staying behind in Sept Iles for a year after graduation, Wendy went to John Abbott College where she received a diploma in Office Management (or something along those lines).
- Well, I'm finally online at home at not at work. As Donald said, I graduated in Office Systems Management at John Abbott and stayed on as a secretary in the Student Services Department. Eventually I moved into the Admissions Department and now coordinate it. That was 10 years ago. My husband and I met at John Abbott in residence and just celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary. We have 2 beautiful girls Amanda, age 7 and Rebecca almost 4. Since having email, I've been in contact with a few grads from '85 but would love to hear from more!

In 1995, Guy Lessard and I became proud parents to our "ANGEL" Kassidy Erin. We then moved to Barrie, Ontario where we purchased our first house. - I now live in Montreal and am a controller. I used to go to Queenie, from grade 7 to grade 10 (I was with the 1985 graduating gang). I still have contact with a lot of them. Fortunately, I was invited to the graduation at Queenie and was able to party at the end of high school with all my friends I had been going to school with ( some since Our Lady's).
- We had a small reunion in March 1995 and we were about 15 people who graduated at queenie in 1985. Some came from Montreal, Toronto, and Ottawa. It was fun to see those guys again. Todd Woodley is also one. He lives in Montreal too but I haven't seen him in 5 years. Anyway continue your good work. I wish you good luck.

- After leaving QEHS, I joined the navy and spent the last 14 years sailing all over the world. Although I never ran into Dean Landry, we were in a lot of the same places around the same time. I am presently sailing on HMCS Ville De Quebec, one of the new frigates and am rated as a Master Seaman as well as a Ships Diver. I live in Jeddore Nova Scotia ( just out side of Halifax ) with my wife and little girl. It is pretty much like being back in Chevery I have 50 acres of land ocean frontage on the front and lake frontage on the back. I still do a lot of hunting, fishing and own and operate Eastern Shore Outfitters (a hunting guide service ) in my spare time.
