- Since graduating from Ottawa U. in 1986, I have been working for the Federal Government. Initially, I started at Treasury Board and then moved on to Revenue Canada. So, do you all file your tax returns and comply with the Income Tax Act? No, no just kidding!!;-) My position is entitled "Senior International Officer". Essentially, we exchange tax information with countries with which Canada has Tax Treaties. There is some travelling too... recently, Rome, Italy... soon Washington D.C., U.S.
- At home, I have a wonderful husband, Tom, and a daughter, Sabrina, who is 3 1/2 years old and the light of my life. We have a beautiful home in Cumberland. - A QEHS website... Great Idea!! Hi everyone!! I've been living in Gatineau, Quebec for the last thirteen years. I married Jean ten years ago and we have a wonderful seven-year old son, David. I am an Administrative Assistant for the federal government, Treasury Board Secretariat to be more precise.
- (Update 2004) I can't believe five years have gone by since I first wrote here. Hi everyone, lots of changes in my life. I've been divorced for three years now and am enjoying life with my wonderful son, David, who is now twelve and will be starting high school this fall. I bought a small house, which I share with my son and two cats. I now work for the Canada Revenue Agency as a Cabinet Affairs Officer. Since both of my sisters and I live in the Ottawa-Gatineau area, my parents left Sept-Iles and now live about ten minutes away, by car, from my house. - What a great substitute to a class reunion. This way we don't see who lost their hair, who gained weight and who still have those high school zits. I still look at my yearbook and wondered what everybody is doing. I am happy to have a few of my question marks answered. I tried marriage but it did not work. I am now living with a wonderful girlfriend and we have a wonderful 2 year old boy together. We are working on a second one. We are living in Sherbrooke, QC. I am working as a locomotive engineer. - I couldn't believe my eyes when I clicked on the site and saw names I hadn't heard in years. Including my own. For those who may remember me, I'm not much bigger, though I'm not 86 lbs any more, married with 3 boys Brice 10 and Tyler 5, both models, and their dad Paul (LOL). I went from Sept Iles to Montreal to St. Catherines Ont. to Toronto to Shilo Man. to Espanola Ont. to Hamilton Ont. We've been here for 8 years. I am Vice-President Administration for an ambulance service, and part owner. I'm also part owner of a medical device company. Dying for information, fill me in, you're all bookmarked now.
- (update : 08-12-2005) Hi guys! Just an update. My email has been changed to wecould@sympatico.ca. We've had terrible luck with our computers. Until now. Sorry to hear that the reunion didn't work out. I miss everyone. It's still a great site. I still live in Hamilton, ON with Paul. We'll be married for 20 years in April. Brice my son just turned 17 two weeks ago. And Tyler my other son will be 12 on the 1st of January. Incredible how time flies. Brice & Tyler are still models. You can see Tyer on Fox t.v. around 7 am or on satelite on Nickelodeon. He's in the commerical for the board game "Clue Mysteries" They revised "Clue" and now there are 50 new mystseries. Tyler's the Blonde boy with the spiked hair and yellow shirt. He solves the mystery & reads a newspaper with his pitcutre on it at the end. His agent said that he's going to have a still photo on the internet. I believe for Hasbro. They are still hashing out the details. Will update when I find out. Since our different computers have crashed etc...I haven't been able to email anyone. Looking forward to be able to email everyone. My Mum & Dad live in Thorold, ON (just outside St. Catharines). My sister Paula lives in Picton, ON. I know there are a few people who still live in Sept-Iles or have been visiting there. I miss the good times we all had. The school's in Ontario are very different. Write me.

- What a great way to reach our old classmates. After graduating in 1981, I went to Mount St.Vincent University in
Halifax, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Home Economics, with a minor in Sociology. I returned to Sept-Iles in 1986, where I worked in a small
hotel in Longue Pointe de Mingan for 2 summers, and believe it or not, I taught
sociology at the C.E.G.E.P. in Sept-Iles for about four years. I left teaching to become General Directer at the Comfort Inn hotel (in Sept-Iles) where I have been for the last 15 years.
- I have been married since 1996 to Pierre (yes a french guy) and we have two beautiful daughters - Chloe, who turned 5 in April and Emilie, who will be 2 in August.

- Hi all who remember me...I want to start by thanking Brenda Brière for letting me know this Web site existed. Yeah, we're still friends. She's the only one who tolerated me all these years. So about me, not much to say. Been married 12 years to my wonderful hubby, Jerry, and have a son, Patrick, 8 and in grade 3. We've been living in Québec City since 1993. We were in Ottawa for six years prior to returning to Québec City. I work at Environment Canada as an Executive Assistant. I'd love to hear from any of you out there.
- Update October 2003: Hubby Jerry, son Patrick and I moved back to the National Capital Region summer of 2002. This was due to Jerry being transferred... again!! Patrick is now 12 and started high school at D'Arcy McGee High School. I'm still with Environment Canada, now working as a Project Manager. What's great about this move is that Brenda Brière and I get to see one another more often!! I also see my sister Julie, her husband and their three kids every week!! I also caught up with Mimi Bernardo who also lives in the NCR. I believe Brenda and Mimi are the only two grads who remember me as I have not heard from anyone else out there...!!! We should try to get grads from NCR together, as there are a lot of us out here. After more than 22 years, it would be nice to see "old" faces!!"

- Hello everyone! It's so great to hear from all of you. Here is my story... After QEHS I graduated as a nurse at Cégep de Sept-Iles, worked at the hospital for one year, left with my boyfriend for Québec City where I completed a Bach. in Nursing. Since 1986 I work in a psychiatric institute (Robert Giffard). In 1993 Mathieu was born, followed by my daughter Alex in 1995. Both of them attend a small English school in Qué. Since Feb. 2000 I am separated. I am very busy with my kids. Since 4 years I am working hard on an old dream, studying piano (classical). I also learn a little violin since both my kids are taking lessons. By the way, believe it or not I'm still the same size; I did get rid of my glasses though. I'd love to have news from you all. Hi all , I now live in Sudbury Ontario and have been here for 10 years. Have been working as a Consevation Officer ( game warden ) and love every minute of it. Days are long especially at this time of year (fall) . I am in my 15th year as a Conservation Officer and plan to remain in Sudbury. - What a wonderful webSite! I joined the military in 1986 as an Air Weapons Systems Technician. I was in Bagotville,Que until 1992 until I got posted to Cold Lake, Alberta. I have been here ever since (as of August 99). I have been married to my beautiful wife, Susan for three years. We have a baby girl, Veronica who will be turning 8 months on the 27 August 99. My present position in the military is a CF-18 weapons instructor/monitor. My wife is a teacher who has a degree in special education and primary.
- (May 2nd, 2002) Cheers from Cold Lake, Alberta! Alot has changed since my last profile. I have changed careers within the military and I am now doing "Non-destructive Testing" vs. "Weapon Technician". My wife, Susan, has gone back teaching and our children are growing up so fast. Veronica is 3 1/2 and Alexander will be 2 this September. I always ensure to check this site regularly to see how everybody is doing. Great website! happy to hear that a reunion is in the works for next year. You can count me in. It should be a blast from the past so to speak. 1981 was an awesome time to graduate in Sept-Iles. So much has changed since I've lived here in Ontario. I've been here close to 15 years now. I've been working as a fork lift operator/receiver at Lansing Buildall (now Rona Lansing) and am very happy there. I also have a little girl, Carmelia who will turn 7 this July. I'm going to post some pics as soon as I get my new computer. That's all for now.

- Graduated from Conferderation College in Avionics in 1983 and moved to Calgary, Alberta. Never happy living in one place for long so got a job working over seas in the IT business. - Last night I had a weird dream involving two QEH classmates that I haven't seen since our graduation in 1981; Christopher Storseth and Claire Ludanyi. Perplexed, curious, and above all nostalgic, I decided to type in their names in a search engine and voila, I found this site! What a great idea and memories galore seeing all of these names… I also win a $20 bet from Franco D'Orio (if I ever see him again) that Marjorie would marry Geoff ;-) After some soul and bodily searching and a lot of aimless but fun wandering about, I ended up going to graduate school at McGill and got my PhD in clinical psychology in 1995. I'm now a prof at l'Université de Montréal and do research on sleep and dreams. Married but no kids although we are working on it ;-) Still visit my folks in Sept-Iles every summer and always walk by QEH… Drop me a line! My email address is : zadraa@psy.umontreal.ca.
