- WOW, it must've been some party - 25+ years have gone by already (and I remember most of it!). That makes me, what, 32(?)! OK, I'll be serious... I joined the Canadian Armed Forces in 1974 to see the world. Spent the following 6 years going to school combined with two 6-month tours to the "top of the world" (CFS Alert - and you thought Sept-Iles was cold!). Left in 1980 (having spent 16 months learning Russian following my 2nd tour to Alert!) to take up a job with "Club Fed" (DND) - been with them ever since! Also got married in 1980 (my wife, Jacqueline, is a school teacher) and we have 3 lovely daughters, Sylvie (17), Geneviève (15) and Renée (14). All 3 play competitive ringette so we spend a solid 6 months/year in arenas all over the place.
- We've lived in a little town (Bourget), some 40 km east of Ottawa, since 1980 so we're now part of the local yokel crowd! I've taken up music again (drums) after a 20-year hiatus - no better than I was 20 years ago so I won't give up my day job at Club Fed! Last time I was in Sept-Iles was 1987 to help my parents move to Trois-Rivieres. We hope to take the girls to Sept-Iles this summer... My claim to fame, dined (well, I and the other patrons) with our PM Jean Chétien at the Harvey's Restaurant on Montreal Road in Ottawa! - This is like coming home to come and visit old friends on this web site! I have been living in Beautiful British Columbia for over 5 years now. Ken Billingham (QEHS - 1972) and I were married for 25 years and have 3 children (Daniel - 23, David - 20, Christine - 17) and a new grand-daughter Kristen, 9 months old. Ken and I recently went our seperate ways. We moved around quite a bit since we left Sept-Iles in 1980, Ottawa, Lebel-sur-Quevillon and Montreal. I continued my studies with the HEC in Montreal and have been with Hewlett-Packard for 17 years. I am a Project Manager and get to travel and work with great people. - I left Seven Islands in 1973, for Montreal, where I graduated from Dawson College in 1975, worked for Quebec Cartier Mining until 1980, am now on my 20th year with Delta Airlines where I have had a chance to travel. I presently live downtown Montreal with my boyfriend. I still work for Delta and teach art to children in my ever-so-precious extra time.
