Quin-closeup.JPG (25219 bytes)

Here's Quin!  As rats go, he's quite the trickster.  Although he's just as willing to steal the last bit of cheddar as he is to share the worm he just caught, Quin is a gentleman, don't let the long claws fool you!

Brought to life in natural string mohair with handpainted ultrasuede ears, Quin-standing.JPG (25006 bytes) he has safety-lock eyes, upholstery fabricQuinbygarbage.JPG (33034 bytes) inner mouth, tail and paws.  His teeth are wood with handsome stiff black whiskers and a handstitched nose, while his paws are handstitched with fimo claws.  His 13 inch long body (8 inches excluding the tail) is completely wired for full poseability and he's stuffed  with polyester fiberfill, glass beads and lots of love.  Not recommended for young children.

Harley, Quin's brother, is just as handsome but in black mohair.

(A little note about my rats and reality:  yes, I realize that rats have large incisors for gnawing and not fangs, but in my world I prefer fangs!  However, if you'd prefer a rat with proper incisors, I'll create one for you!)

On the left, Pandora (in a "salt-and-pepper" string mohair) joins her brothers Harley and Quin.  3some.jpg (133704 bytes)With black embroidery thread eyelashes, she's ready to steal the scene. . . and the pumpkin seeds!

On the right, that's Pandora with her sister Pamina and young Wild Bill celebrating 2008, the Year of the Rat.  Wild Bill has clay fangs instead of wooden ones and was created in a soft, long off-white string mohair.  He's not telling, but it looks like he's sporting a bit of a black eye... must be from messing around with the sisters!  He'll have to be better mannered, or learn to duck!

"Oh, did you want one?"  she asks.
