- I graduated from QEHS in 93. I did a year of Cegep in Sept-Iles (that wasn't for me). I then moved to Lennoxville, and did 2 years of Machining Techniques (this also wasn't for me). I have been living in Ottawa for the past 4 years bouncing from job to job. Currently I work in Sales for a call center. I met my Fiancee here in Ottawa, and we have a little girl.
- (update : 25-08-2006) Its been a while since my last update. Not sure if everyone knew, but I am now cancer free. All is good according to the doctors. - After graduating, I moved to Newfoundland and worked in sales for two years. I returned to Keyin College, St. John's, NL were I graduated as an Adminastrative Assistant. I moved to Calgary, Alberta for Three years and then my Husban and myself moved back to NL. We have a beautiful daughter and two cats. I still get together with high school friends at least once a month Manuel Rowsell, who just got married and Duncan Roberts. Life is good!!

- After I finished school I moved back home. We (Robin and I )bought a house and are engaged. We have two kids (a girl and a boy) and another on the way. I am very happy living back home in Chevery and being close with my family. I guess School just wasn't for me. Ha! Ha!

- Hi Guys. Let's see, where to start. Well after QEHS and one semester at CEGEP in Sept-Iles, I moved back home. I met my fience a few months after and eventually we moved to Lennoxville, where we worked and lives for 3 years. We moved home when we got bored of city life, and bought a house. - Hello everyone!! After graduating, I stayed here at the Cegep of Sept-Îles, but after 3 pointless yrs, I finally realized it wasn't for me, so I worked in a local restaurant until I FINALLY decided to move to Montreal in August 2000. I studied in tourism, and for the last 3 yrs, I've been working as a reservation agent for a wholesaler, here in Mtl. I do have a boyfriend, I'm not married and still don't have any children.. that can wait another 2 or 3 yrs!! ;o) Other than that, life is just wonderful. I can't wait for a reunion though.. - I studied film studies at Carleton University before completing a journalism diploma at Holland College in Charlottetown, P.E.I. After working for a few months at the Charlottetown Guardian, I got a job in Morinville, Alta. just north of Edmonton. Since June, 1999, I've been here in Lloydminster, which is about the size of Sept-Iles and is called Canada's only Border City - forget Sault St. Marie or Niagra Falls, this baby is divided between the exciting, oil-drenched province of Alberta and the... wheat-drenched province of Saskatchewan. I work for both a daily paper (The Lloydminster Daily Times) and a twice-a-week paper (The Meridian Booster) which are both put out by the same company. I'm basically a general reporter, but my main beats are entertainment, court, RCMP and public schools. The Booster is on the net: www.bowesnet.com//lloydminster. - Well after graduating from QEHS in 93, spent 2 years at Cegep de Sept-Iles and then moved on to Montreal. Spent 4 years in Montreal, off and on at University in the computer field until finally I moved to the high-tech capital of Canada, Ottawa. Worked for a few different companies, last one being Quarterstone Communications, a network security and internet security company. Currently working as an independant security consultant, mostly classified security contracts for the government. Also started a security company with a few other people called ETIS Technologies, www.etis.ca. Web site may still be under construction. So basically working two jobs, still playing lots of sports. - After graduating Queenie, I studied business/commerce at Champlain college in Quebec city. It was there that I got hooked up with my fiancee, Chuck. We moved back to "the coast" for awhile where I was substitute teaching. In '96, we moved to Edmonton and have been here ever since. I'm currently a supervisor at The Home Depot. I love my job, but would like to move back closer to home someday. Chuck and I will be married in March 2001. I don't play volley-ball much anymore...walking the dog is enough exercise for me! - Hi All! (05/02) Just a short update. It's now Shelly Boland - yes, Chuck and I were married in March '01. (No children yet)I'm still living here in Edmonton. I guess it's home now, although we still visit the coast atleast every two years. We built a new house in 2001 so I guess I'm here for awhile. I'm now working for and industrial construction company (Focus Construction) as an office manager/accounting clerk. I love married life and my new career. We're looking forward to a trip to Mexico in the fall. I will write again when we have some wee ones on the way. Hope everyone's healthy and doing well! - After graduating Queen E. I went to Cegep in Sept-Iles, that following summer I was in a car accident and suffered severe whiplash and broken three fingers and three knuckles on my right hand. After a year of physio I decide to go back to school in Lennoxville. I hated it and went back home. From there I decide to move up north to Iqaluit, which is the capital of our newest territory, Nunavut. I got a job as an data entry clerk for Nunavut Arctic College and then got promoted to accounting services. Then I met my boyfriend Tim who got a transfer out of the north to Regina last july and here we are. I start my new job as an accounting services clerk the last week in February. - Though I am not a QEHS alumni, some of my siblings are. I would have been a member of the class of 1993, but my family moved to NF back in 1988. I haven't been back to Sept-Iles since my sister was killed in a car crash back in 1996. I received my B.A. (History Major, English Minor) from Memorial University of Newfoundland back in May, 1998. (I also studied for a term in Britain back in 1996.) I received my Bachelor of Education degree (Intermediate/Secondary) in August 1999.
- Since September, I have been teaching English and Family Studies at Centre Wellington District High School in Fergus, Ontario. My husband Tim and I (we were married July 21, 2000) moved from Kitchener to Fergus back in October. It's great to be living in rural Ontario away from the "big" city! No babies just yet! Besides, we have a hyperactive Jack Russell Terrier named Mojo, and a turtle named Einstein to keep us busy!
- (May 30th, 2002) Since my last posting, my husband and I became parents! We are the proud Mommy and Daddy to a wonderful baby girl named Emily Claudette - born on February 1, 2002. Aside from parenthood, things are relatively the same - we still live in Fergus and I'm still a teacher. I am, however, enjoying the fact that I will be on maternity leave 'til January 2003.
- (update : 11-05-2006) - How time flies! It's been quite a while since I posted an update. My Dad passed away suddenly in November 2003. I still miss him terribly. On August 4, 2004, my husband, daughter and I were blessed with the arrival of our precious baby boy Liam James. As much as I enjoy motherhood, I am a working Mom. - After QEHS, I completed college and 1 year university at Ottawa U. I then went on to Hairdressing! It was the best move I ever made. Until... I became allergic to the chemical product and all the other bacteria in the valley of Ottawa! (Now I live in a bubble!) I worked thereafter in the Financial Software Industry in Ottawa with a co. called Mackenzie/Winfund. Eric and I moved to Los Angeles just recently due a military posting and I'm now taking it easy on the beach! I want to say "Hi" to everyone from QEHS; Hope life is treating you all well!
- Yahoo!!! California baby! Eric and I have been here by the beach for almost 2 years now. I am working for an internet billing support company (for the most "popular" wesites, if you catch my drift! Fun stuff but don't let me get any calls from my old highschool buddies! ). We live 2 blocks away from the beautiful beach/Pacific ocean. Sunsets are great. Much to see and do in LA but the most exciting trip that we have taken was the Grand Canyon. Vegas is a great party! San Francisco is quaint. Hawaii is still on the list before the end of this posting. We are in the process of planning our Wedding. - After studying commerce in Sept-Iles, I decided it wasn't what I wanted to do. I went to John Abbott and did science and am currently in my final year of biology at McGill. I hope to be in grad school studying (hopefully) neurobiology/neurophysiology by this time next year. Wish me luck!! Wow, it's been a long time since I last updated. I did complete my B.Sc in biology and after taking off a year I did another B.Sc in animal biology (still at McGill but at Macdonald campus). I will be returning in the fall to do a Master's in animal science/ animal nutrition. I'm still playing lots of sports, my newest passion being rugby. I would love to hear from any and all of you.
