- Hi, it's great to see that Q.E.H.S has an alumni website. Hi, this is
Darlene Power Johnson I graduated in 1983. After graduation I moved to
Newfoundland where I was working for a while before deciding to return
to school in Calgary, Alberta. In 1987 I completed a program in Early
Childhood Education at the Univeristy of Calgary. Upon my completion of
the program I was a director in a DayCare Centre for children from the
ages newborn to the age of 12. I worked in Calgary until 1992 that's
when I moved back East to Newfoundland.
- I am married to a wonderful hubby who's name is Peter, and we have three boys
Ronald 9, Cody 4, Dustin 2. After being in Newfoundland for a while we took over my mother in laws business which is a Convenience Store and Gas Bar.
I now work as a Student Assistant for the Avalon West School District.
I haven't been back to Sept-Iles since October 1996 that was when my
sister Claudette was killed in a tragic car accident.

Rowsell, Ronald Keith
- After Queeny, I went to University in St. John's, Newfoundland. After three years, I was injured in a car accident and returned home to Harrington to recover and decide what I wanted. I was fortunate and got a part-time teaching position with the Littoral Board here in Harrington teaching Phys. Ed. After three years of different contracts I returned to University at MUN. I worked a while with the Coast-Guard on the HMS Ann Harvey. Most of the time I worked in Clubs as a bouncer, body-guard, and eventually became Head of Student Security at the University. I Finished a bachelor's degree in Education in 93', and started a post graduate degree.
- Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, I met a lovely lady, and we are now married in Harrington with two boys, and a third, expected in October. I have been teaching in Harrington now for the past 7 years as a Junior High math & science teacher. Hope to here from you.
