Michael Hiles, Managing Director

Michael Hiles has over 20 years of Human Resource and Compensation experience at both the strategic planning and implementation stages. He has worked with a variety of international organizations to develop a wide range of human resource management strategies and programs, as well as effective compensation, incentive and benefit programs. As a consultant, Michael has developed human capital management programs with a specialist focus on compensation issues for a wide variety of organizations in the private and public sector. Michael's experience includes all aspects of Human Resource management from advising on strategy and policy design, to implementing many forms of Human Resource programs. Michael has developed systems applications to deliver rewards to employees and to provide management with analysis capacity through HR information systems. He has developed and managed international Human Resource files, including operations in Hong Kong, Brazil, Romania, the Czech Republic and Western Europe, as well as expatriate compensation and administration issues.

 

Margot Uson, Associate

Margot Uson is an independent human resources consultant with over 20 years experience. Her career in industry has been at the management and executive levels, where she was responsible for Canadian as well as international HR activities in large, multinational organizations. She has participated in international task forces for the creation of global HR policy and strategy, and in the design and implementation of HR systems and processes. She has managed the HR side of mergers, plant closures and business consolidations. As well, she has designed and implemented performance management systems, recruitment strategies, employee communications programs, management coaching, development and succession planning, HR department process and workflow analysis, benefits, pensions plans, employee assistance programs, corporate policies and employee handbooks, and separation package negotiation. Mrs. Uson specializes in identifying, creating and implementing human resource systems, programs and policies targeted to attract, motivate and retain organizational talent.

 

Marshall Wansbrough

Marshall Wansbrough has over 20 years of wide ranging experience as a manager and consultant in the fields of human resource planning and management, change management, communications and career management. Marshall has worked with government departments, crown corporations and private sector organizations of all sizes. He also has international marketing and sales experience in Australia, Japan, Spain and England. Marshall has consulted on Human Resources policies and procedures for organizations in India, Bangladesh and Jamaica. He has wide experience in linking Human Resources initiatives to overall corporate strategies, with special focus on the challenges posed by managing organizational change in turnaround and merger/acquisition situations.
