Hi! My name is Marla, and today I am interviewing my favorite voice actress, Tara Strong!

Marla: How did you first get into animation?

Tara:  At the age of thirteen I tried out and booked my first animated role; "Hello Kitty".

Marla: How did you get your first animé role?

Tara: Just a regular audition for me. It was a game for Jack Fletcher, the same man who cast me in Final Fantasy.

Marla: Did you get to work with the other performers?

Tara: Nope

Marla: How did you get the part of Boh in "Spirited Away"?

Tara: Jamie Thomason, who cast me in the mermaid, recommended me.

Marla: What was it like to do your first game?

Tara: A lot of work.

Marla: Were you excited?

Tara: Not really, because I had already done some amazing animation jobs.

Marla: Which one was your favorite?

Tara: The Little Mermaid 2.

Marla: Which do you prefer ... animation or animé?

Tara: Animation.

Marla: Do you like to do games, too?

Tara: I prefer to do cartoons because I am creating an original character but I love it all.

Marla: What was it like to do Final Fantasy?

Tara: It was tons and tons of work!

Marla: Did you get to work with the other performers?

Tara: No, when you're dubbing you always work alone. Otherwise it would take a long time to wait for everyone to get it right!!

Marla: What's your favorite dub character?

Tara: Rikku.

Tara: Although I'm very excited about "Blue Dragon". I play "Klule" and I think the fans will really love it.

Marla: What is it you like about Rikku?

Tara: She was so much work that she became a part of me. She made a lot of growth over time and people seem quite drawn to her.

Marla: How did you come up with her voice?

Tara: I saw her image and used my instincts. The director and producer guided me too.

Marla: Are you still doing her voice for the next Final Fantasy?

Tara: Haven't heard anything about it.

Marla: What's Blue Dragon about?

Tara: It's about 3 young heroes saving the world from an evil villain and his hoards of evil creations. It's action packed and beautifully animated. The three leads acquire powers in the form of giant blue dragons that react to their emotions and guide them.

Marla: Sounds like fun! Do you play any of the games?

Tara: Nope...I stink at them. My five year old is awesome at them! He likes my Kingdom Hearts game and Nickelodeon game.

Marla: Which one is he best at?

Tara: Nicktoons "Battle for Volcano Island"...he loves to find Timmy!!

Marla: Did you know that Xiaolin Showdown and Teen Titans are trading card games?

Tara: Yup. I really miss Teen Titans.

Marla: What was your favorite thing about it?

Tara: Awesome cast & great writing.

Marla: Is there any way to get the show back?

Tara: If all the fans write WB like crazy demanding it. Fans have a big voice.

Tara: Cartoon Network too...can't hurt!

Marla: Was it fans that saved Fairly Odd Parents?

Tara: Not sure...maybe!!

Marla: Anything you want to say to your fans?

Tara: So grateful for all their love and support.

Marla: Thanks for the awesome interview, Tara! We should totally do this again sometime!

Tara:  My pleasure.
